Antique mourning necklace, Victorian era, encrusted with rose cut garnets. European or American, ca. mid - late 19th century. Metal is silver and gold plated brass alloy. Reverse of the main pendant includes a glass area for the keeping of a lock of hair. Necklace is in good visual condition overall, though one link has separated and needs to be soldered back on.
