Description
Offered in this lot is a late 1800's primitive footed tobacco cutting board/bowl. There are seven cutting grooves in the bottom of the board. Small brad nails were used to stabilize a split in the board/bowl and one of the "feet" sometime in its earlier use. The board has three feet on the bottom that measure 1 1/4" and 1 3/4" to give the board a slight slant. The board measures 23" x 14 1/2" with 2" sides. This wooden board/bowl shows cracks to be expected from its age and use.
