Description
AMERICAN ARTS AND CRAFTS ARTICLES, LOT OF 27, comprising a Roycroft 5 3/8" x 3 7/8" hinged wood-lined hammered copper box with stamped "R" mark to underside and twenty-six ceramic tiles including two diamond-shaped examples with Art Deco scarab beetle motif, a reticulated quatrefoil example with frog design, thirteen square examples, and one triangular example. Some having impressed "EMPIRE" to underside. Empire Floor & Wall Tile Co., Zanesville, OH; Roycroft, East Aurora, NY; and others. First half 20th century. 1 7/8" HOA.

Condition
Roycroft box with some wear to patina; tiles in good to very good condition, some having flakes/chips to edges and expected usage wear including glue residue.
