Description
QUEEN ANNE BRITISH STERLING SILVER MINIATURE TEAPOT, having a bulbous-form well with reeded rim and applied scrolled handle, S-curved spout, topped by original cover with spherical finial and raised on a round foot rim. Impressed with a British lion/leopard's head hallmark to base and to flange of cover utilized between 1697 to 1720, other marks worn or obscured on base, possibly David Clayton or George Manjoy of London, cover and foot rim also later impressed with a 20th century Dutch "..ZI" import hallmark for sterling fineness. Total weight: 0.645 ozt. Early 18th century. 1 5/8" HOA.

Very good visual condition with minor wear and surface scratches, slight bending and minor dents, repairs to side of spout, to handle, and to top of cover, possible repairs to side of pot and to base.
