ASSORTED AMERICAN CLOTH BOY / MALE DOLLS, LOT OF TWO, comprising a stockinette example with light paint decorated facial features, gray wool yarn hair; remaining example with some light pencil shading and button eyes, brown mohair and wool "Dundreary Whiskers" mustache and hair, each with a jointed cotton cloth body. Each fitted in period attire, including trousers and sport coats, green silk trousers retain a sewn label marked "PM / RAG / 1", mustache example with kid leather shoes. Stockinette example found in New Hampshire. Second half 19th century. 13 1/2" HOA.
