MIDWESTERN FOLK ART CARVED AND PAINTED WOODEN PIONEER LADY DOLL, an expressive naïve example with carved face, hands, and feet, stuffed cloth body and composition elements to back of head. Retaining likely original painted surface. Fitted in period attire, including printed fabric dress and glazed cotton apron and bonnet. Possibly Indiana. Second half 19th century. 20 1/4" HOA.
