Two Yves Saint Laurent Skirt Suits, 2000s  

For Fall 2004, Tom Ford recalled Yves Saint Laurent's iconic Chinese collection, originally debuted in 1977. This teal satin suit features a jacket with a pagoda shoulder more rounded and modern than the original (look 4 on the runway), paired with a streamlined pencil skirt for a twenty-first century wearer.

This lot includes two two-piece skirt suits.

THE FIRST
Black and white wool/cashmere blend dotted two-piece skirt ensemble including a built up box neck jacket with draped over sleeve and fitted under sleeve, front waist flap pockets, and front button closure; paired with matching straight fit skirt with flounced hem and center back zipper closure.

THE SECONDThe overall condition is very good structurally though both jacket and skirt have discoloration throughout each piece; the jacket discoloration is mostly within the interior facings and neckline and the skirt discoloration is mostly localized on the front panel.
