Yves Saint Laurent Haute Couture Suede Jacket with Racoon Trim, Fall 1983

This haute couture coat is from Yves Saint Laurent's Fall 1983 collection, which was presented in a fashion show on July 28, 1983 at the Ha´tel Inter-Continental in Paris. Images from this event show Mrs. Gutfreund in the audience. Mrs. Gutfreund purchased this coat as well as the suit in Lot 61 and the coat in lot 62 from the same Fall 1983 collection.

Condition:The overall condition is very good structurally though there are some color variations along the outer lengths of both sleeves and on the front right panel near the hemline. There are two small dark spots on the front right shoulder and sleeve. The left front sleeve and panel has several indentations or lines, though not a residue or soiling. There is minor soiling along the sleeve hems and some wear is noticeable at the elbows. Everything is sold 'As Is'. The stated overall condition of the lot is based on the assumption that the wear is consistent with age and use.
