Description
Oil on paper 15 x 11 in. Robert Neal Labiner was born on February 11, 1952, in Philadelphia, PA. He took some art classes in his youth, and his art was supported by his parents. Bob majored in mathematics at Temple University where he graduated with a degree. He then became a math teacher for six years, after which he left that profession. In the 1970's Bob became a life model for many art institutes and art academies around Philadelphia, and would teach art to the youth in Philadelphia. He also took classes at Fleischer Art School in the late 1970's. Bob eventually moved to San Diego, California, in the early 1990's, and has made the city his home ever since. He took more art classes through the San Diego Community College system. Bob currently likes to paint with acrylics on paper and canvas, with varying styles: abstract, expressionistic, and recreating his dreams. He has done drawing, oil painting, and Sumi ink painting in the past. He likes to constantly experiment and explore new techniques in creating his artwork.Written and submitted by Tim Ray Fisher, whose source is the artist.
