lithograph in colors, 1990-91, pencil signed, dated, and numbered 93/250 lower margin, from Harvey Gantt, printed and published by Gemini G. E. L., Los Angeles, and with their blind stamp at lower right, full margins, framed.
Image size 5 x 6 5/8 in.; Frame dimensions 14 1/2 x 16 in.
This print was made to support the campaign of Harvey Gantt (b. 1943) for a US Senate seat in North Carolina in 1990. Gantt is an architect and politician who was the first Black mayor of Charlotte from 1983-1987, and the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture in Charlotte was named in his honor.
