In the finer “Mauri” Tekke Turkmen weave on wool, this tribal main carpet shows  four columns of floatingrounded and quartered tribal Tekke major guls, with chemche minor guls between, on a brilliant red ground. Some minor fringe wear at the ends.  Numerous Turkmen borders including a main stripe of X’s and hexagons. Narrow elems (extra end panels) with fringed oblique bars. Fine rustic weave with excellent quality resilient  pile.
