Pass issued for 1893 season to WE Pearson & Family. Signed by someone for the company (illegible). Red and dark green print on cardstock. Toning, especially on reverse. Melville Garden at Downer Landing in Boston Harbor was built in 1871 by Samuel Downer. It was torn down in 1897. As this pass came from a larger railroad and steamer pass collection, it could be a steamer pass for the Hingham, Hull, & Downer Landing Steamboat Company, the only steamer line to Melville Garden.
