Pp.[1-2]-47. 2 parts in one volume, 12mo (5 x 2 7/8in;127 × 73mm). Printed in Latin and Greek. Condition: Some light worming, P3 and P4 and their 'pairs' P9 and P10 were printed, torn in half horizontally and then bound - now with small repairs to the outer blank margins, X4 verso with some words erased. Contemporary sheep, ruled in blind. Provenance: Thomas Symonds (various inscriptions at the front, one dated 1734). A quite early edition of a dictionary of words in the New Testament in Greek. The author, Professor of theology at Herborn in Germany, was a well-regarded expert on the grammar and lexicography of the New Testament. The present work seems to have been first published in the 1620s.Â
