A partially filled French postcard album. Light blue cloth, hand-painted floral design with embossed "Cartes Postales" and Art Nouveau decoration. There are about 31 mostly full leaves of 1900s postcards (approx. 200+ cards total), plus empty pages. The leaves have a gray printed design. There are several photo postcards of individuals, but most are Paris and other views of France, numerous chateaux, and the Alps. Includes B. F. Chalon & Saon and Hachette et. Cie. Most are unused, but several are stamped/franked and/or written on. The album cloth has wear and staining, but binding is sound; some soiling, staining; postcards are in good condition, some with light foxing. 10 1/2" x 15 1/4".
