An American Art Deco polychrome decorated three-panel screen by Kenneth Stevens MacIntire (1891-1979), dated 1930, oil on wood panel, the center panel with a unicorn and a maiden, centering the two panels with male figures peering through foliage, signed and dated lower left, each panel 68"h x 22"w. Provenance: Property from the estate of Patricia Moffat Pope, San Francisco, CA, Mrs. Pope was born May 12,1927, to parents William H. Moffat and May Martin Moffat in Reno, Nev. She grew up, a cattleman's daughter, loving the ranches and riding horses. She married George A. Pope Jr. in 1959 and together they built a Thoroughbred horse racing empire that included 27 stakes winners in the United States and in Europe. Among the many races that they won include the 1962 Kentucky Derby
