DESCRIPTION: Pair of Royal Vienna plates featuring Egyptian revival imagery-one with an image of a pharaoh and his attendants, one with an image of an Egyptian royal woman and her attendant-embellished with a gilt background. Plates are further decorated with five emblems on their lips punctuating a purple border embellished with gilt foliage motifs and are finished with a gilt geometric pattern on the rim. Each piece is marked on underside with a blue Bindenschild and the word "Aegypter".
