For your consideration is a beautiful Perthshire art glass paperweight in the traditional French style. Working from the base up, the paperweight has a transparent yellow field upon which sits a dense, yet translucent field of white upset muslin. Upon the upset muslin are border of (8) millefiori canes enclosing (3) picture canes and a signature/date cane reading "P 1975". The picture canes depict a panda, a duck and an animal that could be a dog or goat.

Provenance: From the private collection of an antique dealer in Austin, Texas. Originally purchased from the private paperweight collection of Carl Carter of Austin, Texas.
