System is compromised of six uprights with eight shelves, one sliding door cabinet, letter storage, desk, cabinet with two drawers, and three drawers. Impressed manufacturer's mark to each pull 'Herman Miller'. Applied paper manufacturer's label to side of one upright 'Herman Miller'. Aluminum manufacturer's label to letter divider cabinet 'Designed by George Nelson Herman Miller, Zeeland Mich'.

General wear exists throughout the shelving system. Walnut surfaces have a few scattered abrasions, scuffs, and scratches along with a few small veneer losses to edges. Cabinet unit has a gouge to its top. Some aluminum pieces are yellowed, possibly from an applied lacquer. Finish to the walnut has light general wear with slight loss of finish scattered throughout. There is a tonal difference to the walnut throughout the components. Uprights have scattered abrasions and scuffs. Overall this CSS is in good condition.
