Instead of the traditional paper and pencil method, Gaetano Pesce utilized resin to create preparatory "skins" of his design. The present lot is sold with the original Greene Street resin skin study of the same design, dated to 1984.

Work is in good overall condition. Minor wear, scuffs, and abrasions throughout consistent with age. The rear of the backrest shows light wear in the form of a minute chipped loss to the resin at one upper corner and a surface accumulation approximately 1" in diameter. One front leg flared out slightly to one side. The opposite foot lifting slightly off the ground. The chair is stable. Sold with original Greene Street resin skin, which is in excellent overall condition and framed behind acrylic measuring 29 h x 21 w inches.
