Black cut out dog with vibrant pink figures throughout. Haring was a leading contemporary artist in New York. He studied at the School of Visual Arts and first experimented with grafitti in the subways, eventually holding his first exhibit at the Tony Shafrazi Gallery in New York. In 1997, a retrospective of his work was held by the Whitney Museum.
