Description
A Pre-Columbian Mayan ceramic poison pot of oval form with curved rim raised on three tapered cylindrical legs. Rim has two holes where a thong would have been fitted for carrying. Vessel is crafted to resemble a human head. This item was de-accessioned from the Baltimore Museum of Fine Arts in the 1950's and still bears the museum catalog number painted on the bottom. Size: 2.5" H. x 2.5" W. x 2.5" D. Weight: 2.6oz
