GROUP OF FIVE VICTORIAN MAJOLICA SERVING PIECES BY GEORGE JONES LATE 19TH CENTURY comprising a cheese dome and cover modelled in the form of a bee skep, dated 1873, possible GJ monogram to the top of one of the branch corners on the base, 20.5cm high, 17cm wide; a strawberry basket with bifurcated strap handles, 36cm wide, 15.5cm high; a strawberry dish with creamer, bowl and sugar sifter, dated 1872, 37cm wide; a fox dish, dated 1869, the leaf moulded body with applied fox head and tail, 25.7cm wide; and a kingfisher triform leaf dish, dated 1873, moulded with bullrushes, lily pads and applied with a kingfisher eating a fish, 30cm wide; all with diamond registration mark and GJ monogram Qty: (5) Provenance: The Peter Rose and Albert Gallichan Collection
