Embroidered with the utmost skill and care, this textile presents a myriad ofcolors - red, orange, blue, green, pink, and white - and is detailed with circular reflective "mirror-like" pieces. The circle motif is a strong symbol used for various forms of Indian visual culture - often carved into temples, as bindis painted onto the foreheads of Hindus, and embroidered motifs featured in the garments of Indian women
