Description
Jose de la Cruz Medina (Native American, 1935-1983). Original Native American Pueblo acrylic painting on pottery vessel bowl. Acrylic paint hand applied on native ceramic, produced by the artist's sister in law, Sofia Medina. Encircling figural forms with dancers, background kachina faces, stylized bird forms, and a pueblo structure containing the artist's signature. Interior and base painted in rich ochre red.
