Description
Two Pre-Columbian Copper Castings. One a rare casting of a standing male figure in a full length tunic, hands held together on his midsection, tiny legs project below while it is pierced behind the head for suspension. The Wari made such tiny votive figures most commonly in greenstone; together with a four headed bead, that is a casting of heads looking to the four directions who share eyes between them, pierced through for necklace suspension. On stands. Sizes: 1) 1'' x .75'' x .5'' (3 x 2 x 1 cm); Height on Stand: 2.25" (6 cm); 2) .75'' x .5'' x .5'' (2 x 1 x 1 cm); Height on Stand: 2" (5 cm). Ex.
