Black-Bellied Plover
Hingham, MA, c. 1900
10 3/4 in. long
An elaborate plover in breeding plumage with raised wing tips and three-piece laminate construction. The primaries and tail have crisp incised feather detail. A stringing screw-eye is attached in the tapered thigh behind the stick hole.
Original paint with even gunning wear.
