Unusual Art Nouveau Figural Bronze Stand with Ducks, early 20thc. With squared green mottled granite top raised on a bronze and cast iron stand base, with four groups of three squared legs, each cast with duck heads at the top and and webbed feet resting on lily pads at feet. On casters. Unsigned.

The granite piece on top is two pieces of granite joined. It is resting on the top of the piece and is not pegged in. The top section that the granite sits on appears to be cast iron or steel. It has a reddish tone with some rust. There is overall general wear to the bronze base, to the patination and to the bronze itself with bumps, scratches and wear. Some of the duck heads are imperfect and not rounded out in the casting having a slight sheared effect to the tops of the heads on 4 of the duck heads. This is also true of some of the tips of the duck bills. They are attached to the top with screws through the duck bills. There are drips of patination? finish? and assorted other unevenness to the finish. The base is raised on casters.
