Description
Etching in black on laid paper, dated 1646, with the Gustave Seeligmann collector's mark on the reverse (Lugt 1215); Three Heads in Profile After Leonardo da Vinci, etching in black on laid paper, dated 1645, with the Gustave Seeligmann collector's mark on the reverse (L. 1215); together with Jean-Pierre Norblin de la Gourdaine (1745-1830): The Standing Figures, etching in black on wove paper, 1779, with indistinct initials and date in the plate.
3 3/4 x 2 5/8 in. (sheet), 2 1/2 x 3 3/4 in. (sheet), 1 5/8 x 1 in. (sheet), all 10 x 10 in. (frame).
Condition
All trimmed to or within the platemark. Head of Woman with a few pale stains and creases. Three Heads with the top sheet edge folded back 1/8 inch and a tiny nick at the top edge. Figures with staining.
