Description

Exceptional modernist desk chair Model No. 8312 by Shaw Walker in brushed aluminum and wood; circa 1940's. Dimensions: H 32" x W 24" x D 20.5" Condition: Wear of finish and stain to ends of arm rests. Seating surface shows significant peeling, crackling and loss to varnish. Loss of protective finish to metal back portion of chair. Legs show wood loss and and scratches to lower portion of legs. Wear is consistent wtih age and use.

All the items in this auction remain at our Annex Gallery location in Bridgeport, CT for pickup. Items must be picked up in the time frame of Wednesday, Monday February 7th - Friday, Friday February 11th, 9am-5pm, WEEKDAYS.
