DESCRIPTION: Brown-Westhead Moore And Co porcelain inkwell featuring two lidded wells proper and a lidded rear compartment. Piece has floral and foliage motifs and gilt trimmings throughout; rear compartment is decorated with a ram's head flanked by banners and its lid features a lamb-form finial. Marked on the underside of each lid and of the main body: "CAULDON England". Stamped on underside: "BROWN-WESTHEAD MOORE & CO. ENGLAND D.B. BEDELL & Co NEW YORK".
