Condition
The body of each key is incuse stamped 'STERLING'. Each key loop terminal and hanging ring has a French post-1893 import mark of a weevil and bigorne behind, which verifies it is continental silver.
The fountain pen nib is inscribed with the maker's name Joseph Gillott.
The sliding mechanism on both the fountain pen and pencil is working but some what stiff to operate.
Each key is slightly different in style.
The pencil is missing its lead, but the winding mechanism below for pushing the lead up and down operates smoothly.
The button hook which opens up and extends is not silver but possibly steel and has some visible rust. There is a slight indentation to the silver body of the boot hook key, commensurate with age and usage.
Overall this set is in good condition.
