Description
William Purcell McDonald ( American, 1863 - 1931 ). Known for pottery, floral still life and figure paintings. Was a member on the staff of the Rookwood Pottery Company as well as a member of the Cincinnati Art Club. Signed with the impressed logo XXVIII for 1928, shape number 2657 and cipher for William McDonald.
