Poul Cadovious Danish Modern Royal System Wall Unit in teak. The "Royal System" was designed by Danish designer and manufacturer by Poul Cadovious in 1948 and was one of the world's first wall hung systems. Apart from four open shelves, this unit has four adjustable modules, a display cabinet, a set of four drawers, a fold-out writing desk with letter compartments and a two-door cabinet with shelf, as well as the original brochures for the system. The unit is photographed with two of the vertical slats placed side-by-side. The center slat is actually two separate pieces that can be arranged to decentralize the system into three separate units. The quality of wood and craftsmanship that can especially be seen in the joinery is spectacular.

Dimensions are 89 in h x 63 in w x 19 in d. Condition is fair. Light wear and stain to wood, peg damage to the two-door cabinet. Can still hang but it leans. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
