Item Details

Description

Bissell Little Gem was manufactured in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Toy has four wheels which turn the sweeping brush as it is pushed. Bell toy has two steel wheels which turn the axle, ringing the bell as it rolls.

Dimensions are: Bissell Little Gem: 27 inches tall X 7 3/4 inches wide X 4 1/2 inches deep; 68.58 cm tall X 19.68 cm wide X 11.43 cm deep. Bell toy: 36 inches tall X 4 3/4 inches wide; 91.44 cm tall X 12.06 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Drive wheels are dry and have decreased in size hampering the roller mechanism. Outside housing is missing paint and is use worn. Bell toy has dented wheels.

Provenance: From a Northern Virginia collection.
