Original publisher’s pictorial wrappers printed in red and black (extremities dust soiled or toned with few tiny chips or creases along edges, some separation along lower front joint, staples rusted, contents toned as usual). FIRST GREIG EDITION with “Wm. Clownes” imprint on p. 64, and the third English edition of Doyle’s first Sherlock Holmes novel.
