Group of Three Large Carved Wood African Figures, 20th c., consisting of two female fertility figures, one with beaded jewelry; and an antelope with cowrie shell decoration, Fertility- H.- 32 in., W.- 6 in., D.- 8 in. Provenance: Palmira, the Estate of Sarkis Kaltakdjian (Sarkis Oriental Rugs), Prairieville, Louisiana. (3 Pcs.)
Condition
One mother figure has shrinkage cracks to head and chest. The other mother has a chip to lip. Ram figure has some minor old chips to base. Wear is consistent with age. Handsome examples.
