Pre-Columbian, with examples from the Chimu of Peru (ca. 1100 to 1470 CE), West Mexico's Nayarit and Colima (ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE), Chavin Tembladera of Peru (ca. 900 to 200 BCE), the Manteno of Peru (ca. 850 to 1400 CE), the Maya of Mexico and Central America (ca. 550 to 900 CE), and the Manabi of Ecuador (ca. 250 BCE to 600 CE). A fascinating collection of 37 stone, shell, and terracotta beads, most anthropomorphic or zoomorphic, with some spindle whorls and abstract forms. Size of largest: 1" W x 1.25" H (2.5 cm x 3.2 cm)

One figure has been repaired to have a head that may not be original (but is also ancient). All have light wear commensurate with age, including small chips, nicks, and scratches. All are generally in good condition with nicely preserved forms and details.
