Outstanding original 1940s Cleveland "Black Hawk" African American Motorcycle Club uniform. The Cleveland Black Hawks were one of the very few African American motorcycle clubs in the Uitned States during the 1940s. This historic uniform features the original ike style wool jacket and riding trousers. Jacket features chain stitched lettering and original felt Black Hawk club patch on shoulder. Trousers do have some moth holes and wear from use and age. Jacket is in overall good condition with some damage to the shoulder patch and a few small holes,. Jacket is named to " Dutchess" on the front. Still has original " The America" brand tag attached.
