Description
A spectacular earlier piece to say the least, very high quality! It is masterfully painted and unglazed. A pair of children with lifelike complexions are no doubt from the upper crust of society with expensive clothing and toy doll. The artist has even made it appear that the young girl is pretending to be asleep with her eyes slightly opened while the young boy is trying to wake her. Both in beautiful attire from the period. Good condition with part of the boys horn missing and possible repair on the dolls hand. Measures 7.5" high by 7" wide. This piece is very thick and heavy!
