DESCRIPTION: Pair of rose medallion lidded tureens, one rhombus-shaped and one rectangular, each with curved corners. Each has a gilt finial and is decorated on the lid and with two circular images of avian and floral motifs inside a gilt border, two images of domestic scenes, and two images of floral, fruit, and avian motifs all surrounded by foliage, curvilinear, insect, and floral motifs. Sides of each tureen are decorated with two domestic scenes and two images of floral, fruit, insect, and avian motifs all surrounded by foliage, curvilinear, and floral motifs and designs. Inside of rectangular tureen is decorated with floral and fruit motifs against a white background; inside of tureen is decorated with floral, insect, and fruit motifs against a white background.
