PORCELAIN OWL FIGURAL MINIATURE LAMP, brown ground with gilt decorated highlights, standing on an earth-tone figural rock formation, orange and black glass eyes, period collar, opaque white umbrella-form shade with flared rim. Fitted with a Rund Brenner burner with silver-plated finish, colorless chimney. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 12 7/8" H to top of shade, 6 1/2" H to top of collar, 3 1/2 x 4" base.

Condition
Excellent overall condition, one claw with a long sliver flake, overall crazing to body and underside, shade undamaged and with normal as-made rim roughness. Burner lacking a chimney gallery prong, shade supports with repairs to junctures and including one detached.
