A 4.5 sold for $125 in November 2021 (with cracked CGC case).

Jack Davis both wrote and drew his Civil War tale, "Whupped!," which is by far the standout story in the penultimate ish of Frontline Combat. The story introduces the reader to an energetic young Confederate irregular whose enthusiasm for the conflict wanes panel by panel until he dies abruptly with a Yankee bayonet in his guts. One panel, showing a man's face obliterated by a minié ball, hits the startled reader with more impact than any zombie story ever could. The Korean War was drawing to a close just as this mag was hitting the newsstands, and Kurtzman & company's weariness with war transpires from every page.
