Original Constance Forsyth engraving of stylized mountains. The piece is pencil signed and dated 35 in the lower right hand corner. There is an 0F in the Lower right corner of the plate. The site size is 4.25 bye 5.75 inches. The art has not been examined outside of Frame. It is in its original framing and has never been removed.The following information was submitted by Historian and Archivist Carl R. McQueary:Born Indianapolis, Indiana August 18, 1903Died Austin, Texas January 22, 1987 Education:School 57, Shortridge High School, Butler University - Bachelors Degree in ChemistryJohn Herron Art Institute, Indianapolis - Diploma 1929 (Studied with William Forsyth, Clifton Wheeler and Myra Richards; her mentor and the main influence in her life artistically was her father William Forsyth)Pennsylvania Academy of Art, Philadelphia - 1927-28 and 1930 (Studied with Henry McCarter, George Harding and Albert Laessle)Broadmoor Academy of Art, Colorado Springs - Summers 1932 and 1934 (Studied with Boardman Robinson and Ward Lockwood.)
