Rare antique French art-deco cigar box, created in Paris, France for Alfred Dunhill, circa 1930. It was crafted in carved natural burl wood, with semi French polished finish and embellished, with details in 18 karats of high polished yellow gold.Is mounted on top, with an oval cabochon cut (40 x 30 x 6 mm) of a natural agate of about 51.52 carats.Has a total weight of 260 grams and a measures of 1.56 by 4.25 by 8 inches (3.9 Ã—10.8Ã—20.4 Cm).Stamped, with clear French hallmarks; the eagle's head for the assay and the guaranty of the 18 kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche for LU SZ and signed, "A, DUNHILL".
