An exceptional octagonal side table, ornately carved with figurative scenes, floral motifs, and Chinese characters. Each side has three carved panels loosely inset into a frame, which folds on hinges to create the octagonal shape. Red wood, with ebonized finish. Dimensions: H 23" x W 20.25" x D 22" Condition: Slight bowing to tabletop. Wood with small nicks, scratches, scuffs, and minor losses to ebonized finish throughout.
