Description
A vintage rotary tape measure ribbon clock. Made in the USA, the 1930s. Pat. No. D-95,184. Invented by Herman F. Lux, the owner of the Lux Clock Manufacturing Company Inc based in Waterbury, Connecticut USA. This item was also known as the Mystery Desk Clock. This clock was a promotional item for some coffee brands and was given away on top of a can of coffee after a certain amount of purchase. Today a rare piece. Retro Americana industrial and mechanical collectibles.
