A pair of Louis Philippe mahogany armchairs
mid 19th century
height 35in (89cm); width 23 1/2in (60cm); depth of seat 17 1/2in (44cm)
Provenance:
Property of a Private Collector, Tucson, Arizona.

Condition

Structurally sound. General marks, nicks, scratches, cracking, scattered losses to timber and wear. Probably originally with mounts to front of seat rail. Now with old scars and holes. One with repaired arm and resulting crack in upright of back. Notable nicks, scars and wear to legs. Moderate wear and some staining to upholstery.
