Pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Jiaqing Famille rose floral motif porcelain bowls. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, broad cavetto, with a straight opening lip, raised on a wide round, with slight concave footing. All reserved in hand painting ornamentations, rendered in clean white under glazed ground color which contrast against the Famille rose design color. Famille rose hand painting depicted vividly hand painted in colorful design, Famille rose translates to the pink family, on a colored ground decoration. Each bulging sides enclosing colorful falangcai, Famille rose on a colored ground decoration, of Bajixiang. The Exterior decorated with abundant ripe pomegranate tree interspersed fresh green foliage and flowers blooms in vivid tones color. Pomegranate is known as the fruit of happiness for its red color and is a symbol of plentiful offspring for its many seeds. Because the pomegranate is full of juicy seeds, it symbolizes fertility in feng shui, and it is used as a feng shui fertility cure. Pomegranate also symbolizes happiness in the family, as well as good luck for one's descendants. The Daoist attribute to it the same power as the peach of immortality. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned. Mark on under base, a six under glazed blue seal script characters reign mark, Jiaqing Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
