Great 19thC Laos Buddha in a modified Shan Style, carved in teak and elaborately decorated as seen in the photos. Remains of inscription on base. Surface wear and minor surface loss, but otherwise in good condition. Large at 17 5/8 inches tall and heavy as it is made from a solid piece of teak.. With a fabulous face, this is a particularly fine example of its type.
