Impressionist depiction of a Canadian goose seated atop a wood crate beside a pumpkin and wicker purse. Hutchinson was a self taught artist using her childhood home as inspiration. Her depictions of farm settings are meant to draw a nostalgic feeling, when times were less complicated. This style led to Hutchinson's popularity, showing with local art guilds and later with major commercial art galleries. Hutchinson is currently exhibited in galleries in Vermont, New York, and Massachusetts where she maintains her Cape Cod studio.
